We do NOT collect any personal information. WebResourceExtractor operates entirely locally within your browser and does not:

2. How the Extension Works

WebResourceExtractor only:

• Monitors network requests on the current tab to detect downloadable resources
• Extracts page content that is already visible to you in the browser
• Temporarily stores detected resources in browser session storage (cleared when tab closes)
• Downloads files only when you explicitly click the download button

3. Data Storage

• Local Only: All data is stored locally in your browser's session storage
• Temporary: Data is automatically cleared when you close the browser tab
• No Cloud Storage: We do not store any data on external servers

4. Permissions Explanation

The extension requests the following permissions for legitimate functionality:

• webRequest: To detect downloadable resources on web pages
• downloads: To enable file downloading when requested by user
• storage: To temporarily store the resource list during browsing session
• activeTab: To inject the extraction panel into the current tab
• scripting: To capture rendered page content
• host_permissions (<all_urls>): To work on any website where you want to extract resources

5. Third-Party Services

WebResourceExtractor does not integrate with any third-party services, analytics platforms, or external APIs. The extension operates completely independently.

• All processing happens locally in your browser
• No data transmission to external servers
• Downloaded files are saved to your local Downloads folder using Chrome's native download API
• Extension follows Chrome's security best practices

7. Children's Privacy
